You can reserve a time slot to help out working with the cats. When I helped out, I was cleaning litter trays. While you do this, the cats will climb on you and try to play with you. They're super adorable, but do get in the way of working slightly :D The hostel was a good price, had a comfortable bed and good internet. There was also free tea and some free cosmetics. The only downside is that the hostel is a bit of a walk to the centre, but there is a subway station close by.

It's the best hostel I ever went to. Everything is always clean and the idea to rescue cats is great. Whenever I go to Fukuoka I'm staying there and I'm always enjoying it.

Nice hostel with cats and amazing sake bar.

Best hostel I've stayed in! The owner is very nice and welcoming, cats are well cared for and loved. Facilities are clean extra amenities are supplied. Would recommend.
