Really nice place to stay - very comfy and clean. The staff are really helpful and friendly as well. Only thing it's missing is a full kitchen, it only had a kitchenette (fridge, cups, microwave).
This cost-friendly hostel is very neat and stylish, with wide bed spaces in the dorm. The layout were also planned well - there is a small personal changing area just before the shower room! New towels were issued for our use every morning. There were many books to peruse at the bookshelves in the common area, so much so that the bookworm in me extended another day just to finish a book I found there. It helps that the whole hostel was almost always quiet. The staff were really helpful with my questions and I had a few lovely chats with Saki.
However, there were two areas for improvement. First is the WiFi, which was slow and inconsistent, especially after midnight. I work remotely so I couldn't stay long in a hostel with unreliable WiFi. Second, I was reading in the common room for hours and it gets cold fast. Saki thoughtfully put the portable heater near me when I'm alone there. Although it does help, this is not a feasible move when there are other people using the common room together.
In light of my inconveniences, I thought of giving this review 4 stars but on second thought, the flawless hospitality I received here won out. I did enjoy my stay here after all.
A very nice place!!! I highly recommend it if you are looking for good place (single person wise).
The hostel is not far from the SUBWAY (no JR) station of Nakasu Kawabata. It is serious a straight walk from there.
The staff is pretty friendly (I liked talking to Saki) and the place is pretty clean.
The common area has a nice place to seat and eat. Kitchen has all the stuff you need if you have food to warm up and what not.
The dormitory was pretty clean and quiet.
I really enjoyed this place!!! Very good spot for travelers (no kids).
Rooms are super clean and spacious for a very low price. Everything is Muji and minimalist which we loved. The little bar is nice and the staff is super friendly and helpful!! Exceeds my expectation for sure. Prolly my favorite place over the past 1-month trip over japan.
Location is a little far from the train station but very close to the city and the sightseeing spots! Friendly staff and modern rooms with a safe! (Too small for a laptop though)
