The room we had was great, with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel is close to the crocobeach complex which is quite convenient. The staff was always kind and helpful, giving the best tips. Our stay in Fortaleza was great :)

Excellent location with a breathtaking view of the shore. Top-flight food at the hotel restaurant, with elegantly styled decks at which to lunch or dine, offering views of a delightful pool and the avenue along the ocean. I had grilled whiting topped with finely ground cashews, kale and garlic, a cheese risoto with a hint of lime, steamed and buttered veggies with a balsamic drizzle, and a watermelon-and-orange juice -- all divine. I've read past reviews and can't see how they quibble with the place: uniformed staff very friendly, hotel remodeled in travertine marble, granite and light porcelain tiling and clean, contemporary rooms with firm king beds, breakfast table, excellent wifi, chocolates on the pillow, granite BR countertops, hot, powerful showers. Pay the extra $$ and get the oceanfront suites with large balconies: the sea and coconut-tree studded beach views and steady breezes are worth it. In short, BEST shore hotel in Fortaleza!
Good location close to the beach and felt safe. Large, modern and clean rooms, large balcony, would definitely recommend Ocean View for the extra cost, not very easy to find sunbeds on the beach.
