The Neptune is a very clean and family friendly resort in a great location. My family's first time to Fort Myers and stayed 5 days. Front staff, Daylin and Isabel were super helpful with places to eat and things to do. Housekeeping and pool area clean with places to grill. Rooms were good size and not run down.
The place itself is nice, but just don’t book through Neptune. Use an outside agency!! The hotel is VERY money hungry. When we arrived the hotel staffed offered to upgrade our room for $200. We went back and forth and decided to do it. When we left, we found out they charged us $600 for the upgrade. Managers refused to listen to our complaint, stating it was written on the form we signed. We reviewed the form and in very small print saw the part indicating it was $200 per night. So yes, we were wrong in signing it but it was also a very clear bait and switch technique to get us to agree to the upgrade.
The beach and pool were great. Staff works hard to keep the place clean. It’s unfortunate that they have such poor management handling the finance portion of the hotel. It’s a nice place, but definitely not worth the rate they up-charged us for, and definitely not the customer service you would expect.
Absolutely amazing! The rooms and grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The staff could not be more polite and helpful, every single one of them. Most of the staff we meet have been working there for years. The resort is small (not like those giant chain hotels so you get way more personal service) and the location was perfect. Beautiful, charming, oceanfront resort.
Grab a couple noodes and a cold beverage of your choice and float your day away in 1 of the 2 pools. Most likely Nate will be there and if he is say hi. It's a quick walk down to Yo Taco and back so you can pound down a big donkey and be back to the pool before you know it. I highly recommend the Neptune for both location and amenities.
Great resort. Worried about covid? The rooms step right outside not in a hallway inside. Two heated pools for cooler weather.. Also very clean rooms.
