We arrived at 7:40 pm, Friday night, went to bar purchased a couple of margaritas. We asked about dinner and we were told "okay, the nice lady will take care of you we have menus and everything". We waited for 15+ minutes, no waitress, so we moved to one of the lighted tables, I approached a waitress who said to sit anywhere and they would come to us. By now it's 8:15. They close at 9:00. Never saw another waitress, no menu, no food. At 8:45 we saw waitresses all talking we gave up and left. The bar and atmosphere was great right on the beach, good music which ended just as we got there over an hour before closing time. The wait staff was disorganized and I can only assume the kitchen was totally in the weeds. They were still bringing out food to tables when we left, they clearly had stopped taking orders before we got there I'm estimating those tables receiving food at 8:45 when they close at 9:00 had been waiting at least an hour for their food. This was Friday March 26, 2021. Luckily we found a place up the road that was open until 10:00, Pinchers, we had a great meal there! I suggest if you want to eat at Outriggers you get there way early maybe like 4:00 pm. We heard the food was good but we can't attest to it. If you want to drink, listen to music, and enjoy the sunset it's a nice place but I can't recommend the restaurant aspect of Outriggers.
Relaxing, food was real good, drinks were great. Staff friendly. Beach is beautiful & huge. Rooms were spotless. It's away from times square but you can drive there or take trolley about 10-15 min away. And their pool is very nice & heated. Definitely will stay here again.
Its a nice place. Location is simply mind blowing. Good staff but too curt. Customer service starts with a smile n not yes or no. Anyways v didn't have any problem staying there. Highly recommended for families or couples. Great beach location. Love to come back to this resort here.
My family and I have been vacationing at Outrigger for over 20 years, every year, at least once. This experience was wonderful as usual except service was lacking, the exceptional clean rooms during our stay was lacking and it was obvious that overall they needed more employees. They appeared short staffed in every area. This was unfortunate because it is a wonderful place to stay. I hope they hire more staff.
We absolutely loved staying here! The beach and the sunsets can't be beat. Now to the Tiki bar. Drinks are so good. I have to give a shout out to Kevin our favorite bartender. Hes great and very personable and everytime our drinks were low he was on top of getting us new ones. Can't wait to come back!
