The first day we got there I made note of the fridge that barely worked, springy mattresses, and unavailable ice machine. All of this could be overlooked for the price and the close location to beach, bars, restaurants etc.
The second day we were there a fire broke out in one of the rooms. Unfortunate. No one's fault. They made calls and made sure we all had a hotel to transfer to. And assures us a refund was bring processed.
While they rushed us to pack our belongings in the dark (there was no electricity) I had to use my phone to see. There were dirty paper masks, sand, and cigarette butts under the beds. DISGUSTING.
Not only did they not offer to pay for transportation off island to the Hampton inn, or to pay the difference in price, but the refund was never applied. Several calls and personal visits to the hotel and no one is available.
I will never trust this hotel again.
My husband and I arrived late Sunday night and were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a much larger room for no extra charge. Almost too much room for just the two of us, but definitely loved it. Did I mention there is a Pin Ball machine in our room? Everyone here has been very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and decent. Could use a bit of updating on certain things, but nothing that wouldn’t stop me from coming back again or recommending to others.
The beach is literally only a block away and it’s beautiful. Sun Deck and Inn does provide chairs and a few things, but we decided just to rent some lounge chairs and umbrella at the beach. Lots of bars, restaurants and Fort Myers Beach stores near by.
Love this place staff is hard working all the rooms have a cute theme to them, and they really focus on their cleaning the room was spotless I have nothing to complain about this place is worth the money! I had a great stay :)
Fabulous staff and customer service. Excellent hotel for family. Updated rooms. Three minute walk to beach. Plenty of bars, restaurants, & shops within one minute walking distance. My family rented two wonderful rooms. We will definitely return. Anyone who is traveling to Fort Myers Beach, Florida should book and stay in this beautiful beach hotel.
The hotel is located very close (walking distance) to the beach, restaurants and bars. Nina and Daniel were very helpful in making sure we made the most of our stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. Would recommend and will definitely stay again!
