The Ilha Faceira is lovely! Clean, well-kept, modern. It's just a short walk over a bridge to the beautiful beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'd love to return. The breakfast was great, too.
Looooovely Inn, every single detail was better than expected! The staff was amazing. Rooms were neat and cozy at the time. Breakfast buffet was tasty every time, but also have optionals you could order at the moment; even thought this is the only meal they serve, microwave are available, cutlery and glasses in case you bring something or ask delivery. Pool and jacuzzi are available but also you easily get to Cambeche beach as it is walking distance. Totally recommended !!!

Attention to details: This summarizes my experience at Ilha Faceira. We were received at the (free) parking spot by the owner himself and at the checkin we could see that this place is special. Tidy and clean, we signed in and he lead us to our room. My first impression is that it was very clean, smell good and organized. But I could see that everyting is very well thought, from the air conditioniner to the cabinet doors. Rooms have a quite big balcony with a table and confortable chairs and a place to hang wet clothes. Rooms also have a safe, telephone and wardrobe, cable TV, minibar (quite big which allows you to bring some drinks and wine) and air conditioner, led lights and reading lights. Bed is somewhat hard for my preference, but is good quality and clean, with clean sheets (of course). Always got hot water on the shower, but it can take a while to get as hot as you want, so improving this could help saving water. But the best was yet to come: Great breakfast, staff is very welcoming and some of them speak fluent spanish and english... And they have their own path to Campeche beach! From the hotel you can borrow some chairs, towels and a beach umbrella and walk 200 meters directly to Campeche beach, and you'll see the Campeche island just in front of you. After spending some time there, you can return to Ilha Faceira and enjoy the hot jacuzzi or swimming pool. The place is near (50m) a small but helpful groceries store, and a couple food trucks, but there are dining options near, you can walk or drive. If you have kids, there's a small playground next to the reception too. Wifi is free and signal is very good, however speed needs to be improved especially when there are more guests. Overall, this is a very family driven place, quiet, clean and a very thoughtful staff, so I fully recommend to both latin and not latin tourists tourists who are planning to relax.
