Actually, we decided to leave the hotel late in the evening and look for another one.
We were visiting our son in Florence and it happens to him he locked out his flat. This was late in the night and no one could help. We decided to ask the staff at reception of our hotel to accept for an additional person in our room. Of course, we wanted to pay for this. To our greatest surprise the staff definitely refused.
I do not find an explanation for such a reaction.
This is why we decided to leave the hotel , although paid in advance and find another location.
We will never stay in this hotel again.
It's an Italian fairy tail. A high class politeness of the staff, a comfortable bed and room, the cleanness and the delicious breakfasts. Is located in one of the best part of Florence in a calm and very beautiful place. 7 min by bus 37 from the station Santa Maria Novella. A magnificent hotel for staying in Florence❤
Gorgeous hotel in a great location. It was so serene and a lovely place to relax but walking distance to everything. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave and the only thing that would have made it better was if there was a pool (maybe the pond out front!). Would definitely recommend.

Polite staff
We had an overall great experience. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect, really good breakfast, rooms were super comfortable and clean, and the staff was always helpful and very friendly. Awesome location as well. Highly recommended for a great stay in Florence. Will be back for sure.
