From interacting with owner on email, to entering the amazing apartment for the first time, to our first breakfast with warm croissants made with olive oil, Velona's Jungle and the owner/host Veronica made for the perfect place to call home during our recent trip to Firenze! The living, lobby, dining, and suites are perfectly appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture and fixtures. From the wall paper to the sinks to the flooring, we didn't want to leave the "Jungle." Veronica was beyond an accommodating host with a list of recommended restaurants and even almond milk cappuccinos every morning with the perfect foam! We cannot wait to return and have another amazing experience with Veronica and at Velona's! It's a must stay for vegans and vegetarians, and design-driven travelers!

By chance, I happened to come upon this boutique hotel. The position is perfect: just ten minutes by walking from the city centre with the advantages of a very silent room.
The jungle-style furniture is really cool and there is great attention to details.
Neither my girlfriend nor I have any particular requirements for our diets so it was our first 'vegan' breakfast: honestly I was a bit sceptic about the vegan croissants but I had to admit that they tasted really good.
Anyway the real plus of the hotel is its owner: Veronica is the perfect landlady doing her best in making our stay very pleasant and she succedeed.

Staying at Velona's felt like such a discovery. They've taken the best of a hotel experience and paired it with the personal connection of staying with a wonderful Airbnb host.
Veronica, the owner/manager clearly cares deeply for the property, which was her grandfather's home. She made us very welcome, as did the rest of the team throughout our stay. The included breakfast was excellent.
We would have stayed longer if we could, and I would return to Florence to stay here again.
Good environment, I've been here in the first days after the opening.The place is really cool, completely different from the other places that you could find in Florence. All the environments are completely different, each room has is own soul. All the products used are biological and the breakfast is something special. 5 minutes walk to Pontevecchio. Nearby is present a hudge park, that's great for me that I run in the morning.
