A very special place to stay in florence. Beautifully decorated rooms in a charming context situated in a perfect location with a rooftop terrace that provides the best view in the city! Also the breakfast is fabulous and is served on a different lovely terrace with magnificent views over the Arno. Altogether a wonderful place to stay.
Had a wonderful stay here with a great room back in 2010. Loved the rooftop. Hope to be back soon.
Truly a fantastic location for lodging when visiting Florence, from the tower there are views of the river, city and surrounding districts.
Rooms were large and luxe feeling, with a separate sitting area from the bedroom that worked well for luggage and items, keeping the bedroom free of clutter.
The rooftop bar and restaurant is one of the best in the city - listening to the bells at sunset from the roof was a highlight of our visit.
Breakfast is included and spectacular. Allow enough time to enjoy the meal before your day starts, it's lovely.
I stayed here in early July 2020 just as the hotel had reopened after the dramatic covid lockdown. What a magical stay! As soon as you enter you feel in a unique and exclusive place. The hotel has this wonderful 5 star scent in its corridors: I managed to buy the scent in the shop that they source it from so now my own home reminds me of my time in Firenze. The rooms are stunning and authentic. I was lucky enough to be upgraded in honor if it being my last night in Toscany and also because of the hotel just reopening. I've stayed in many top notch hotels in the world but I will always keep a special memory of their Rennaisance Suite: the interior is classy and the view over the river is one of a kind. The rooftop terrace gives you mesmerising views and the opportunity to have a nice drink. Because of Covid there was an honesty bar which defined nicely the unique "entre-nous" ambiance at the time. Location is superb, service tailored. I hope to go back in September!
