I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Florence. Fantastic room (they upgraded me to an apartment. Breakfast was served in an absolutely lovely dining room. Staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful.
And the location is perfect. Walking distance to virtually everything you'd want to see in the city of Florence and you can hire a guide to tour the surrounding areas in Tuscany.
Beautiful
The hotel is very nice and in an excellent location, literally next door to the uffizi gallery and no more than 10 minutes walking from the major sights. The a.c. works well, and we needed it coming from a cooler climate. The biggest drawback we experienced was the front door buzzer to allow people into the hotel - we could hear it all the way in our room on the 3rd floor and it woke me up several times. I'm a lighter sleeper. My husband slept through it no problem. The other drawback I found is that there is no real common room to relax in other than the dining room. If my husband is sleeping, I'll often head to a sitting area and read or grab a drink, there's not such a good space for that in this hotel. Overall, the hotel is quite nice.
Nice place great service charming bed and breakfast no Air conditioning once you enter the fall beware. Great breakfast
Fantastic location, extremely helpful staff, great rooms with a lot of character. And the smallest elevator I've ever seen. Couldn't ask for more.
