Reviews from visitors:
Room And bathroom are small. To use the kettle in the room you have to hold it because the cable is too small to plug it while on the table. When we booked through their webpage it said Double room + crib and then when we got to the hotel they said we didnt ask for it, which why would we ask for it when the room specifically says it. Good thing they add it on the second night. The shuttle leaves you close to the center (around 15 min). They said they had baby car seat in the shuttle and then from all the times we used it there was only 1 time there. For a 4 star hotel I was expecting a bit better.
Free parking but theres not enough space for all guests. Breakfast is good. Gardens are beautiful. Service is good and the personnel is very nice and friendly.
Update: The hotel profusely apologised at checkout and offered us a discount on our stay upon our checkout which was appreciated. We were told the film crew took advantage of the hotel and used more areas than agreed to.
The grounds are lovely. Everything else is below average from room size and especially bathroom size. Parking is a challenge as the Hotel was often overcrowded during our stay and we had to move the car multiple times. Additionally, this place does not communicate that the entirety of their grounds and rooms were being used for photo and film shoots during the entirety of our 4 day stay. This means you do not have access to many of the areas they promote and when you do they are filthy and covered with clothes and camera equipment. It seemed they only care about the people who film here and not paying hotel guests. Attached is a photo of what the terrace area looked like during our stay. When there are no fewer than 12 other villas nearby I would advise to choose other options.
Great location. Superior double room quite small. Attention to details could be improved
I experienced one night only in Villa Agape, very good location, incredible gardens, large breakfast. There is also the availability of a free taxi to reach Florence downtown
Service personnel is friendly helpful and warm. Rooms 208, 111 and 308 are fantastic. Views and garden are simply magical. Location is perfect, quite and outside of the hassle. Perfect for active people, morning runs, walks and general relaxation. Hotel has no restaurant only a bar. But the bar is well stocked. The only critique I can offer is to replace those terrible bathroom sinks with a normal fixtures. The water-lock in R.308 is not functioning and letting air from the sewer to come into the bathroom.
