Florence is an amazing city and the staff at Hotel Rapallo made our stay there a truly unforgettable experience. Warm, genuine, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The room and premises pristine, cozy and welcoming and the decor elegant and tasteful. Valet parking an invaluable service and much appreciated and breakfast in the morning couldn’t be faulted. Access to the city center is a short walk away so, thank you to the staff at Hotel Rapallo, we will stay again!
The hotel was clean and the staffs were friendly! The breakfast was not good, Macedonia and Chocolate cake were left over. They charged our credit card twice and when my wife called them the manager was really rude and didn't accept their fault for which we made a lot of phone calls to our bank and we hope it will be resolved! The manager instead of helping us to resolve the problem was shouting on the phone because my wife left a respectful negative comment about their breakfast! Next time I would pay a few euros more just to avoid this kind of person...
Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, and always greeted us by name when coming in and out of the hotel the minute we got to the hotel and checked in, the front desk immediately gave us a map and marked off all the "must sees" in Florence. The hotel was very clean and had a great selection of toiletries, from a sewing kit, to nail files, to extra toothbrushes and toothpaste. Addition to an amazing breakfast they had a tea time every day from 4pm-6pm with complimentary tea, cookies, and small sandwiches.
An oasis of charm in Florence. Besides its nice decor and comfortable rooms what I love about this place is the incredible quality of service the staff provides under the direction of Mr Lorenzo, a true gentleman indeed. There is not a single detail that I don´t like about this place. The breakfast is excellent. Location is top premium. I would never switch to another hotel when in Florence. Until next time. Very nice people with superb knowledge of the city. Overall very stylish. Very clean room and guest areas. The complementary 5 o'clock tea is a lovely touch. Breakfast was just right, with good variety of choices. We would stay again.
