Great hotel, great location, super friendly staff
This was our second time visiting Italy, first time visiting Florence and we were extremely satisfied with our stay at the cerretani. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and upscale. The hotel is also conveniently located to main site seeing locations and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here and I would definitely book again.
We are deeply disappointed by how this hotel has managed its current closure and the COVID19 situation. The hotel is currently closed and cancelled our reservation charging us the full price. I understand that we paid a non-refundable rate but if you cannot offer a service it is not for us to pay for. All the other hotels that we had booked for our upcoming vacation have reimbursed/not charged us. The hotel offered us a credit for in a few months from now - we are elderly and living in a pandemic and travel will evidently still not be recommended at this time. We do not plan on ever going to this hotel in the future and now have to claim thousands of dollars from our insurance.
I would give this hotel six stars if I could. From welcome to checkout all was excellent. This is the most tastefully furnished hotel I've stayed at. The location is fantastic within comfortable walking distance from Firenze SM Novella, and the key architectural icons of Florence. All staff were friendly and helpful. A must stay if you are in Florence.
This is one of the best places to stay in Florence if you want to stay close to the station and the historical places. Hotel recently got renovated, very nice interiors and very clean. We loved the place we choose to stay overall while had couple of issues 1. They don't provide water bottles everyday 2. If you ask for something they will come to your room at odd hours and keep it in the room which is not great experience from security point of view 3. On asking for a cake or a pastery when we were asking them to provide on paid basis they took two days to decide and talk among each other and last they sent a plate of fruits which was kept in afternoon in our room while we came in night. This was a bad experience from our side
