What a fabulous place! The lady at the reception was very very friendly and warm-hearted. Our room was so impressive with the ceiling fresco from renaissance. Breakfast was offered with traditional italien food and snacks, the coffee was without doubt excellent! The palace has a super position. You can walk to almost all the tourist destinations by foot. Highly recommonded! When you want to experience Florence, this palace would be a terrific start point!
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Tolomei. Location is perfect and building has beautiful character that makes you fell part of old Florence. Staff is very welcoming, kind and informative. Our room was comfortable, clean and very close to the breakfast hall where every morning we enjoyed delicious local morning dishes and as many cappuccinos as we wanted. There is a lift available so you don't have to cary bags up the stairs. This is definitely where I will be staying again upon my next visit to Florence.
One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Can’t recommend it enough. I ordered a standard, single room, but the room (and bed) was relatively big. Lovely, huge windows facing the courtyard. Air conditioner worked well, too. A real sanctuary from the loud, tourist-filled streets. Amazing breakfast and helpful staff. Shower was on the small side, but manageable.
A great hotel to stay in, an amazing welcome by the host and a wonderful quick tour of the hotel upon arrival.
I definitely recommend staying there if you are in the area!
An experience that you will never forget! This Hotel is so unique, there are not enough words to describe it. From the incredible frescos to the history of the building to the charming owner/ hostess, this place is our “home away from home” whenever we are in Florence. Once you try it, you’ll be back
