Fantastic service always a pleasure.
Simply paradise.
My wife and I are in our 40's and this is our first time in a Naturist Resort.
The check-in was easy and straight forward and the reception staff were warm and friendly.
Our apartment (122) is perfectly located with a comfortable bed, super fast internet, sound insulated, amazing views and all the mod-cons. I am self-employed and I run my own business. Internet is very important to me when I travel. I have been able to work extremely well on my lap-top from this apartment and my mobile phone reception has also been very good.
The resort itself is superbly maintained with beautiful gardens, clean and well lit walkways. The resort has something for everyone but for me I like the nature. There are very few biting insects considering there is so much foliage.
Every morning I go for a walk. It's such a joy to walk bare feet on soft, lush green grass and feel the energy of the earth running through my body.
It is very much a multi-cultural and international environment and all the other guests we have met and socialised with...……..Brits, Spaniards, Dutch, Danes, Moroccans have been friendly, tolerant and relaxed.
There are two large grocery stores over the road from the resort where you can do your shopping.
If you do not want to cook then you can always go to the on-site restaurant which serves excellent food. I have personally tried the seafood paella which was delicious and my wife (who is Indian) tried the chicken curry which she said was just as good as anything she would cook back home. The staff in the restaurant are all very nice people and the chefs do a great job at cooking a variety of different dishes. The manager of the restaurant (Anita) always finds time to talk to her guests and is welcoming, professional and efficient.
My wife and I will certainly come back to this resort.
Unbelievably wonderful
I went to Costa Natura in late October. Before I arrived the help I received from the reception staff was amazing. Kind, thoughtful and helpful.
On arrival, out of hours, they have a clever and easy to use way of obtaining your key and admittance.
Once inside, this is a wonderland! The grounds team must use manicure scissors to maintain the wonderful grounds. I spent a couple of hours each day just wandering round the intriguing little paths that meander through the grounds.
My apartment was basic (by request and it was perfect for what I wanted) but there are some magnificent and palatial looking apartments there too.
Pool is great, clean and not too busy I didn’t use the spa or sauna but heard good reports.
The restaurant is very good. The opening hours could be longer, but the food is good. “International” is how you may describe the menu, but always local fresh fish and, throughout the day, tapas. And wine (my head still hurts). Good value, but that is a subjective view, some found it a little expensive. There are daily specials and two courses for €15. The website tells you being dressed for dinner is optional. It is not. Unless you stay out on the terrace.
Access is good, I flew into Gibraltar and hired a car from the Spanish side, easy drive to the resort. Malaga is a bit further but no border issues once you leave the airport as you have in Gib.
You can cross a busy road from the resort to a well stocked Aldi (or is it Lidl, can’t remember) and a few minutes’ walk further along is a Mercado. I did not shop at Mercado as it was closed for a public holiday when I tried, but as a local shop you’d expect good things. There’s also a pharmacy. And a Burger King if you must. In Spain? Criminal offence in my opinion :)
And to underline how much I rate Costa Natura, I’ve just done something I have never in my 50something years done before: I’ve booked to go back!
Great place for naturists and very peaceful, can get straight on to the naturist beach from the campsite. Good facilities, the bar/restaurant is right on the edge of the site and the beginning of the beach. A small shop on site but not very well stocked when we were here in September hence only 4 stars but the staff are excellent and exceptionaly help full Sandra booked us in and was very helpful and Jullian gave us some great advice about airport taxi and restraunts he is a great asset to the reception team with his ability to speak different languages and his good knowledge we will definitely be back
