An amazing hotel with great facilities. The rooms are large enough. The breakfast and dinner are very good and there is a lot of choice. The pool and the outside is a good environment to relax. The price for all this is a bit expensive, but still do-able. The staff is very friendly and can speak English very well. Absolutely great hotel!
Great hotel. The staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. The breakfast was decent enough. It's right on the beach and the rooms were decent!
This was a bad experience from beginning to end. Prestige has terrible customer service and no accountability because there is no competition for outdoor venues in the greater Victoria area. I stayed for 1 week for a wedding. This was what happened:
1. Room was never cleaned. Even when we asked for it to be cleaned..still was never cleaned.
2. I don't think they use fresh eggs at their cafe. Or if they do, it's not all the time. I had a sandwich from the cafe and Dominos pizza one day and got deathly sick. I thought it was the Dominos pizza, but on the final day of my stay, I had another sandwich from the cafe but removed the cheese, so all that was left was focaccia bread, avocado, tomatoes, eggs, and lettuce. And I got sick again.
3. My brother's wedding suite room had a old pancake stuck behind the curtains. This was old food from someone's previous stay in that room.
4. They constantly told us they are understaffed and not equipped for the amount of people that came for the wedding. How? This is an extremely popular wedding venue. I know this because my family friend was there a month later for a wedding. He told me they used the 'we're understaffed' excuse once again. Apparently, the bride was locked out of her bridal suite room for an hour because the staff wasn't sure she was actually the bride. This was while she was wearing her wedding dress. And the staff at the front desk said there was nothing they could do. That is beyond ridiculous to me.
5. We were told by the manager on staff that we would get a discount for all our trouble, but we never got the discount.
Ultimately Prestige is extremely lucky. Their service is trash because they have no competition. I'm sure this review won't hurt their business at all, but I hope they make at least a 20% attempt at actually having good customer service in the future and actually hiring more people during wedding season.
Nice place to stay,breakfast and lunch buffet are correct. There is a problem if you arrive by car because in summer is so crowded that there isn't a single place to park . It is a big inconvenience. The hotel has a car park but is always fully booked and does not admit booking in advance
Good hotel, great food selection.rooms need updating but a fabulous place with great views over Roses Bay.
