This place is a gem in the costa brava. Amazing, welcoming hosts, they offer a hearty and delicious breakfast (in the “new normal”). We booked a sea view room which had a small balcony to enjoy a cuppa outside. The bed is comfy, rooms are quiet and spacious. A perfect place for a relaxing gateway.
Wonderful stay in a modern room, very friendly and welcoming host couple, relaxed atmosphere in the whole house including the nice rooftop terrace, breakfast area and restaurant. Great overall concept! Couldn't be any better, thanks a lot!
We had a fabulous holiday at L'Escala staying at Taverna De La Sal hotel. The location is perfect with 50 metres walk to the beach and plenty of good restaurants around (starting with the Taverna restaurant downstairs). The hosts Mariona and Matthew made the place very accommodating and went to a great length to make our stay perfect starting with a very tasty breakfast every morning (typically on a balcony overlooking the beach).
The only bit of inconvenience is that there is no parking next to the hotel, but this is the price you pay for being in pedestrian area of the town. The underground parking nearby was adequate though,

Establiment totalment recomanable, bona atenció, situació perfecta, neteja molt bona. Hotel petit de 6 habitacions per estar molt comode i tranquil.
