A romantic place to spend your special occasions such as honeymoon and anniversary. Very friendly staff. Breathtaking surrounding. But it is better if they have heated pools and air conditioning inside rooms.
However, we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic stay and a memorable experience at this hotel. from the arrival up to the departure, the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Except the condition of the room (standard of the room) everything else were beyond our expectations. We really enjoyed every minute there and overall experience was extremely positive, and we will be back in the near future. I would like to share the name of staff members who took care of our group and made sure our stay at The 98 Acres Resort and Spa is exceptional. Beautiful hotel located in an ideal location amidst tea plantation and with stunning views of little Adams peak and Ella rock. They have different categories of rooms, deluxe, superior deluxe, premium deluxe and premium deluxe with plunge pool, for which the cost is in ascending order.
We booked a premium deluxe room. Room was very spacious and had an extra large bed, a large balcony with a view of little Adams peak, and an average size bathroom. Rooms had all the amenities. These rooms are located but far away from the restaurant and reception area. So you have to call in a buggy to take you to the meals or anything. Also we felt that this area is not well landscaped and maintained. It was all dusty at outside and when these buggys go here and there the dust goes off all around. And the view me were much better from normal room area as we have experienced.
Food was okay. It was a set menu we had. Service was excellent.
Overall the stay was good but below the expected level. It’s good but certainly not the best.
98 Acres is a pearl of wonderlust. Everything from the room surrounded by tree brunches, to the walk to breakfast, to the elegance and coziness of the decor, the view and the swimming pool, is a piece of heaven I would like to come back to, over and over again.
We were here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. The bed was decorated for our arrival and we got complimentary fruit plates and cakes both nights. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights as in our opinion they had the best food so far. They also surprised us with a decorated table on our first night to celebrate our honeymoon. We used the spa for a massage, which I was happy about. The staff were super friendly and checked on us regularly.
Large and comfortable rooms.. excellent service with a friendly staff... picturesque views... highly recommended to locals and foreigners... great for all kinds of groups but best for couples...
