The interior is absolutely beautiful and the service was lovely! Very cosy, we went before Christmas and they had loads of decorations up; made it feel very special. Made our friend’s birthday very memorable despite the circumstances.
Loved this beautiful townhouse guesthouse in the centre of Edinburgh. Lydie was a fabulous hostess and she could not do enough for us. The rooms (we were in three rooms as a family) are beautifully uniquely decorated with gorgeous quirky design. Everything was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and overall experience was perfect. Thank you Lydie for looking after our family in these testing times, we really appreciate your care, and we will be back
Hotel was very clean and a good location for visiting Edinburgh. Staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much bother. Afternoon tea was delicious and gluten free was well catered for. I would highly recommend this hotel
Great location, a ten minute walk from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small and very clean but all we needed as we didn’t spend much time in there. We had freshly cooked breakfast rolls each morning and a breakfast bag which included a crossiant, yoghurt, fresh fruit and orange juice. All included in the room rate which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Novotel is supposedly a trusted luxury hotel one can rely on to have a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay. I'm pleased to say this is exactly what you can expect from this Novotel. The hotel looks luxurious and is well maintained. The welcome is warm and friendly. The rooms are the perfect place to be on a cold Edinburgh night and the beds are supremely comfortable. This Novotel is an exemplar of the standards all Novotels should maintain. A trustworthy hotel deserving of its trusted brand name.

Great hotel and super friendly staff! We had a lovely couple of nights stay. Brilliant views of the Edinburgh Castle as well.
A bit noisy neighbours across the street but not too much trouble for us as we are not too sensitive... breakfast was good too.

Fantastic hotel, great staff, excellent breakfast. Located very close to prince's street so great for getting around.
