Great place in an amazing town! Parking is limited but we parked at the train station which is across the road for a reasonable price. Staff were lovely and friendly, all meals were fabulous! Could not recommend enough!
Brilliant hotel, really enjoyed our stay. Staff were really friendly, room was lovely too. Managed to park the car in the train station car park (which is over the road) for £22 for 24hrs which I can't complain about given it's central location. Good views of the city whilst having breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend
Staff were so warm and friendly. Rooms were beautiful. Meals fantastic. Straight out of train station right across the road will be back soon
Love the place. The photos and drawings on the wall by the staircase are amazing and bring back the history of Scotland. Outstanding people who contributed to its people. The ceilings are very high and classical with royal glamour. The view from the restaurant window is amazing. By the way, the breakfast is delicious and special. Thanks to the service. The room is clean spacious and comfortable. All the lights are LED lights. Smart and energy efficient.
The hotel was amazing. Amazing looks. I really like the wall of books at the reception and in the room. It fooled to try picking a book from the wall. I don't know if each room is the same but believe me it looks amazing...and if you don't, then you would have to come and see for yourself. It is well equipped. There's an ironing board, a mini fridge, soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom so you'll only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste...and maybe a sponge if you aren't used to washing your body with your hands.
I want to thank the staff that welcomed me that night. Apologies if I made strange expressions. I was a bit tired so I couldn't focus much on the conversation. Still, thank the two boys on that night shift for their help.
Also, hotel Indigo is right opposite of the Waverley train station so if you need to catch a train, it's a couple of second of walking.
Now for negatives. There's not much I can say. At the front, maybe because I came in late at night and the auto door is unactive, I couldn't figuire out how to enter. I saw the buzzer outside but was wondering whether I should press it or not. Luckily, it was the hotel buzzer so maybe in the future, if they could label it, that could be nice.
Overall, I am satisfied with my stay in here and if I ever travel through Edinburgh and need somewhere to stay the night, I would come to Hotel Indigo.
