A nice hotel. Room was clean and comfy. A little basic but good enough for my needs. Staff were very polite. I would stay there again. very reasonable price. Good location, just 2 minutes walk from town Centre. will be staying again post covid 19.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely and clean amazingly helpful staff who really did go out there way to make our stay amazing . I slight mistake was made when booking so to make amends they gave us free tickets to the castle. Made for a brilliant birthday weekend and made our engagement even more special. We will be back again
Check in at 3 pm, we arrived at 3.15 only to be told our room was not ready and was offered a complimentary drink at bar whilst waiting and we were told someone would let us know once room was ready. Unfortunately we were still waiting at 16.50 until my husband checked with reception to be advised that the room was ready! We were not advised what times breakfast or evening meals were available, much confusion between front desk staff. Due to late check-in we were subsequently late for a meeting and on our return when telephoned front desk to order room service only to be told there was no room service and that evening meals had ended fifteen minutes earlier. This did come as a surprise as at no point during booking our visit or on the hotels website and on our arrival did anyone state that there was no room service. We had booked a one bedroom suite for our stay which was a very nice room but it had some issues which after a very long day I thought we had to bring to the attention of the staff. It was quite late when I went to the reception area to bring all of these issues to the staffs attention and was greeted by a very nice young man who did listen and said he would write down all of the details and bring them to the attention of the duty manager. No sooner had he went to get the necessary forms that he spoke to another member of staff who came over straight away and introduced himself as Igor the night duty manager who again listened to everything I said he was very helpful and apologetic and offered a number of solutions to correct the issues with the room and our stay. We found him to be extremely kind and considerate and had the ability to deflate the situation. The room issues were dealt with the next day as promised which really helped. We also had an extremely nice evening meal in the restaurant and found all of the staff here to be excellent. We were very close to leaving before we spoke to Igor the duty manager and we can only thank him for his excellent service and for sorting everything out.
Lovely room, excellent service from the staff. Good parking facility with direct access to hotel reception. Shame though that the leisure facilities were not available. Will be back again when fully open
