Great hotel in an excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk from Waverley station just off Princes Street. Perfect for the shops and bars etc. We found it very quiet which was ideal as the hustle and bustle of edinburgh is literally minutes away. Xmas market no more then 5-7 minutes away. We've stayed twice now and stayed in a standard room. Both rooms are a good size Breakfast is good, both continental and cooked.
Location is quite good, very closed to the old town, and the main station. Photo is a morning view from the room we stayed.
This hotel was so good! We had been at various hotels across Scotland over the last few days so it was a relief to get here and everything is very smart, modern, clean and everything catered for without me even asking! Only negative is lack of a bath in the room, but that would only be a bonus in a hotel these days. The bar was really enjoyable and relaxed (but no music) and the cocktails were bang on. In a really good location too!
