We had a wonderful romantic lunch at The Witchery before leaving Edinburgh. It’s a very intimate space with dark lighting even in the day. The staff were super attentive and the food was amazing. We’d definitely go for a nice dinner next time we’re in the city. Dress was casual during the day but we felt a little underdressed in just a button down and jeans all the same. The space is fancy and you’ll want to be too.

It's beautiful and Gothic looking inside..almost spooky but with great warmth and elegance. The food was delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is wonderful, every single dish was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is really magical, so romantic and lit up with candles. Service was excellent, staff was so friendly and helpful, with perfect manner and respect. I will definitely be coming back when you can give me the wine list (currently no alcohol is served in restaurants, how ridiculous, as I would love a glass of white wine with my fish). Thank you! That was wonderful dining experience for my family
We had an amazing meal at The Witchery. We are vegetarians but checked the menu before and decided to give it a try due to hearing great things, and we were so glad we did. The service was flawless, the bread for starter amazing, and even though there was just one vegetarian main, it was absolutely delicious. We also had a side dish, bottle of wine, and dessert each. We loved the atmosphere too - perfect for a romantic date night. Worth a visit for anyone!
