Good location. Nice seating. Reasonable menu. But but but... We were two adults and two children and we waited over an hour for our food to arrive. And when it did, our stakes (mørbrad) was very nearly raw, practically unedible despite our request to the waiter that we wanted it medium. The salad was an afterthought of cheap greens and the French fries were few and tasted like oven made deep-fried fries the kind you buy in the supermarket. Having waited that long we ate the meal anyway, but mentioned to the waiter afterwards that the meat was rare to the point of being raw. To my surprise and utter dismay the waiter then started arguing with us, saying that we should have mentioned that when we ordered. All in all a huge disappointment. We will definitely not be returning to that place.
One of the better restaurants in Ebeltoft, went there multiple times for lunch.
Cozy atmosphere and average prices. However, the meal I ordered, which promised to be beef tenderloin with roasted veggies and potatoes, ended up consisting of some cold meat lacking in seasoning, slightly undercooked vegetables and lukewarm potatoes. The sauce that came with it was quite good, luckily, and that saved the dish. But overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
Very good and delicious food, at reasonable prices. Highly recommend it!
