I loved Acorn Bed and Breakfast in Durban. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome from the owner Donald, right through to the beautifully appointed rooms and stunning pool area. A stone throw away from shops in Cowie Road. P.S The linen and beds are so luxurious & comfortable that I didn't want to leave
When checking in, the room I had reserved was not available for the entire duration of my stay. They offered me a mediocre apartment instead which is not what I was expecting. I got only a one nights stay at the room I liked since the room was double booked. Spent two hours after checking in looking for another place to stay the following day. Getting to the room, the side lamps don’t work, they didn’t have wine glasses to offer guests, the room window handle is broken so keeps banging, the bathroom door is broken. Tiny tiny fridge which is on the floor (1/3 size of a bar fridge) so you must crouch to put anything inside. There is no large room mirror as depicted in the pics. Towels had holes. I was honestly not happy with my stay. The place needs some love and attention.
The facilities within the hotel the hotel overall is simply outstanding. The hotel is a brand new building with modern finishes which complements same. Due too the pandemic restrictions the hotel is quite. Wishing that this establishment all the success and patronage in this trying times...
It's one state of the art and artificial boutique hotel. With such beautiful rooms. I was impressed beyond my expectations in terms of room size's as well as the set up st large. With complimentary effective WiFi that comes with a tea station. I'm thrilled to say expectations we met and exceeded
