When checking in, the room I had reserved was not available for the entire duration of my stay. They offered me a mediocre apartment instead which is not what I was expecting. I got only a one nights stay at the room I liked since the room was double booked. Spent two hours after checking in looking for another place to stay the following day. Getting to the room, the side lamps don’t work, they didn’t have wine glasses to offer guests, the room window handle is broken so keeps banging, the bathroom door is broken. Tiny tiny fridge which is on the floor (1/3 size of a bar fridge) so you must crouch to put anything inside. There is no large room mirror as depicted in the pics. Towels had holes. I was honestly not happy with my stay. The place needs some love and attention.
Beautiful place, but no maintenance takes place. There's dirty where there shouldn't be any. Breathtaking views. Both pools had dirt in it, we couldn't swim. Their curtains were dirty. Milk in the tea table had expired like 2months ago(only noticed after I had some tea) . The bathroom needs an extractor cause there's no shower door everything gets wet when one is taking a shower. The staff is great but need to pay more attention!
It's okay, the focus should just be more on spending time exploring Durban than your room. The staff is great

Needs staff to be attentive. 4 night stay and no towel change. Breakfast order wrong every morning. But it was an ok stay otherwise. The dogs were the highlight of the stay there.
