2 The Norseman

Really pleasantly surprised with the Norseman as a place to stay. We just needed somewhere affordable to stay the night in Dublin for a gig and to go out afterwards. It's in a really central location which was great. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and music venues within walking distance. The room was basic, but very clean and even pretty spacious. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and towels. I'm glad I brought ear plugs though because temple bar is a really loud area! The check-in and checkout process was really simple and the Jervis Street car park is less than 5 minutes walk away.
The pub downstairs had a nice chilled out atmosphere with live music that wasn't too loud. You could still sit down and actually have a conversation. The bar staff were really friendly and gave us discounts on the drinks because we were staying there. Even with the discount it was pricey but not as outrageous as regular temple bar prices. The Guinness was lovely! The staff recommended a few other non temple-bar pubs to check out and they turned out to be great. Overall we had a great experience and I'd highly recommend it for a lads night out kind of thing. Do bring ear plugs though!

Perfect stay. Small but very comfy room and great bed. Great staff and location. Far better than most 5* in Dublin that are getting extremely old. This hotel is brand new and modern
5 Kellys Hotel

We stayed a few nights on our honeymoon. The location is great, but the noise from the streets was very loud. Comfy beds. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
6 Zanzibar Locke, Ha'penny Bridge

This place is amazing, I stayed here for a total of 8 weeks and I couldn't find any faults. The location is perfect its central to everything you want and need. The rooms are stylish, warm and relaxing. I didn't feel like I was living in a hotel, it felt very personal. The rooms have everything you could need for either a short or longer term stay. The beds are super comfy and spacious, so too is the bathroom. The foyer is a really lovely space is want to just hang out with comfy chairs and nice lighting. Having the gym is a bonus too which has all the equipment you could need for a short term stay. Staff are very welcoming and always helpful, super easy to contact them too. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Dublin, location is one of the biggest draws to the place and the stylish furnishings and staff are a treat too. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.
7 Brooks Hotel

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, used this hotel for our wedding in 2018, returned this year for a night in town ... Staff so lovely at reception, the Ladies amazing, so friendly. Great cocktails in bar and door MAN just superb, every guest acknowledged, even when chatting to other guests in reception, he had his eye on guests coming I and going out. Rooms spotless, so overall a great deal for city centre location. Only small tiny issue was good, it was lovely but not up to standards of the past stays we had. We ordered room service because it was Christmas and with Civid active we decided to eat in room, it was nice but not great and breakfast next morning..... Well nothing to be blown over with, very sparodic and under cooked plate....
But its not all about the food, the friendliness and service attitude in my opinion is what counts.... We will be back.... Lots of good memories for us.

11 Marlin Hotel Dublin

My dear friends
I would like to share my lovely experience in the new Marlin hotel and its exceptional restaurant.
During the pandemic everyone is tired of staying at home - so my partner and I decided to celebrate my birthday by staying in the Hotel and eating at the Canteen restaurant. Marlin hotel is located in heart of city beside grafton Street D2.
We were one of very few staying in this chic 300 bed hotel so social distancing was not a problem. The room was beautiful and bright with a huge double bed.
We had a delicious four course meal for just 58€ each. The food and service is high end with huge emphasis on ingredients and presentation.
The taste is mouth watering and both of us ordered different dishes. The atmosphere and music was magnificent!
The restaurant was full but again we were set well apart from Each other to maintain at least 2 metres.
Well trained staff looked after us in a nice way and made me feel so special on my birthday!!
This is a find so check it out.
12 The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin

Absolutely brilliant stay. All staff so friendly and professional. Stayed in what must have been a recently renovated room as design and finish was luxurious. The reviews below don't do hotel justice at all. Bed exact balance of not too hard but not too soft. Breakfast in bed with so many extras - real luxury. Glovers alley always delivers exquisite food too. Live in Dublin and felt like we really got away. Felt so pampered.
14 Cliff Townhouse Restaurant

Definitely enjoyed my meal there, everything was on point. Location wise, it's excellent - right at the heart of the city. Staff were also very helpful which made the whole experience that extra special.

Such an amazing hotel. Funky decor throughout. Amazing fully equipped gym. Best chips I've ever had and amazing friendly staff
19 The Dean Hotel Dublin

images
I spent two nights at the Dean and it was fabulous. The room was small but so comfortable and well designed that it just felt cosy. Food was lovely and the interiors are really nice, but what really made the stay special was the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff to the ladies who cleaned my room, everyone was unfailingly friendly - they all went above and beyond.
