I had my wedding day held at the Royal Marine and I have to say, the staff were excellent. My special day went perfect, we stayed at the Frank Sinatra Bridal Suite, myself and my husband loved how spacious the room was,I had lots of room enough for me and my maid of honour to get ready. The food was superb, very tasty. I am very happy to have chosen The Royal Marine and I would highly recommend it to others

Place is wonderful...if you get the right room. Rooms of the same type can be drasticly different in quality.
Lovely staff in an old hotel with great charm and character. A stone's throw from the promenade and town. Nice restaurant and bar. Highly recommended
Stayed here on the weekend as a last minute decision. Got a great price on a double room on B&B basis. On arrival, staff were extremely helpful and we chilled out in the pool until check in. Unfortunately the steam room and chicuzzi were not in service due to COVID. All staff very curtious though. We upgraded to a sea view room (Charlie Chaplin Suite) on the 6th floor for an extra €30 which was really good. Mini bar was empty but I guess this was also due to COVID. Staff promptly brought water to our room on request. Lovely comfy bed and delicious food in the Bistro, well worth a visit. Shame that the scrambled eggs for breakfast were the only egg option and that they were powder eggs. Hence 4 stars.
