Perfect stay. Small but very comfy room and great bed. Great staff and location. Far better than most 5* in Dublin that are getting extremely old. This hotel is brand new and modern
Hotel is nice and rooms are ok. Bed was very comfortable. Fire alarm went off just after 7am. The amenities in the room (tea/coffee etc) are not great.
Breakfast was just awful. My daughter had an omelette which was swimming in grease and soggy.
My wife had sweet potato pancakes which were not even close to the picture showed by the host.
Coffee was also really weak and my milk curdled as soon as I poured it in.
I am vegan and asked if they had any vegan options for breakfast. “Just what’s on the menu”, which was nothing so I asked for the avocado bowl without eggs or quinoa. Thought I’d spread it on some toast and that would get me sorted. Could have played baseball with the avocado it was so hard and rubbery. I asked if they could swap it out for a ripe one and was told all their avocados are like that. Was the. Asked i I’d like the bowl without avocado’s ( so, raw tomato, red onion and album halves). Really poor in the centre of Dublin.
We won’t be back.
Pleasant stay. Only down side was no double bed. But we got guitars to the room, so we got to have a late night jam. Rock on!
Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and perfect location. We were looked after by Adam and Luke and honestly the two lads were amazing. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel and all the staff in the restaurant were excellent. Couldn't recommend enough for a trip away.
Stayed here in August for a staycationing evening in Dublin. Great central location especially when you get a room facing Dublin Castle side. The hotel is extremely well finished and the attention to detail is very impressive. True it’s a themed hotel but it really nicely done and features the Irish talent well. Service is excellent rooms compact but very comfortable innovative layout makes great use of space if you have lots of luggage you might need one of the larger rooms. We had a very enjoyable lunch with a South American touch and again very good restaurant service. All in all highly recommend for city break or fun night in Dublin. And if you are into guitars you can get a fender in your room. Would have given 41/2 stars if that was a option as with Corona restrictions we couldn’t fully try the hotel bar and its music scene which I expect will be the soul of this hotel in normal times. Enjoy.
