Absolutely brilliant stay. All staff so friendly and professional. Stayed in what must have been a recently renovated room as design and finish was luxurious. The reviews below don't do hotel justice at all. Bed exact balance of not too hard but not too soft. Breakfast in bed with so many extras - real luxury. Glovers alley always delivers exquisite food too. Live in Dublin and felt like we really got away. Felt so pampered.
Used the car park there today, very helpful gentleman directed me to a free space. Returning later, had a coffee in the foyer, there was a delay with service, when I went to pay bar staff insisted it was on the house, very nice touch. Very friendly staff
I have stayed at the fitzwilliam hotel a couple of times now. First time was mainly due to its excellent location but thereon in it was solely for the outstanding service and welcome provided every time by each and every member of staff, from the lovely gents on the door/ reception to the welcoming staff at reception.
The manager on during 2 of our stays was Cormac and all I can say is he went above and beyond to make sure my stay and my parents was unforgettable. Attention to detail in this hotel is just fab.
I managed to get a visit in recently when covid restrictions lifted and we felt very safe during stay with all guidelines adhered to
It's hard to find somewhere to stay nowadays that isn't just the same old same old but this truly is set apart from the rest, in my opinion and I very much look forward to my return.

Food was nice, staff were happy and professional. Cleanliness of the room could have been better. A/C was not working, very warm room. The team provided fans but no excuse for a 5 star hotel letting out rooms that are not fully working.
