Clean and affordable bed dorm. 15-20 minutes walk from Airport/Train Station/BIG C/COOP
the location is perfect, not far from the beach (about 1 km) and from the dragon bridge (1 km too). the staff is very friendly, especially Tony who teach me some Vietnamese phrase. And they will always happy to help you in anything, including book your ticket bus/train. The room is clean, so does the bathroom. so give it a try
It was incredibly cheap, and a good location for us to get to the airport the next day, but the curtain rail had fallen off the wall, ants were everywhere, fraying curtains, peeling wallpaper, rock hard beds, bathroom was a bit dirty, and there wasn't really anywhere nearby to get dinner. It was noisy outside all night, and not just from the aeroplanes, but other guests and a karaoke bar nearby. Just not soundproof at all.
Very good prices. Friendly and kind staff. Clean and organized. Location is far from other tourist accommodations which makes it more authentic and experience more local neighbourhood.

'Near' the beach, but street distribution makes a little more than 10min walk.
I have stayed in various hostels across Vietnam, but this one's my favorite; the hosts were really good and they ensured that our stay there was comfortable. The rooms were neatly maintained. This place has got locker facility, bike and car rental service and access to many eateries near by.
