We had stayed here a while back just after the renovations and had the most incredible time. From the moment we walked in and even before the staff were so wonderful and helpful; the service was phenomenal! As we had arrived quite late into the beautiful town of Cortona, the staff were so kind as to book us a last minute reservation at a top restaurant in town! They were so helpful with giving us suggestions of what to see and booking wine tours for us. They really went above and beyond to make our trip time in Cortona so memorable! This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed, the attention to detail and views were fantastic! Will most definitely be coming back to this fantastic place!
My husband and I were so sad to leave. This is truly the best hotel ever!! We were in love with our Junior Suite room. The view from the room was amazing. The shower had chromotherapy lights, which was fun to experience. The sauna & spa is so worth the 20 euros because it was a very nice break to get from traveling around Italy. I fell in love with Cortona, and if I ever go back to the town, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
We spent 3 nights here as part of a honeymoon tour around Italy. Having never been to Cortona before, we were blown away by the daylight views as well as the sunsets from our hotel room which very well appointed and extremely tastefully decorated. The whole building is beautiful and historic but like everything else in Cortona, at the top of a steep hill. The hotel only serves breakfast which is basic and they have a small bar in the evenings. The spa is stunning and well worth a visit. The staff are very warm and friendly and even gave us a bottle of prosecco on arrival to celebrate our wedding. If I am ever lucky enough to visit Cortona again, I will definitely stay at the Monastery.

The hotel itself is unique being an old monastery with extraordinary views, room is great and staff very friendly and professional.

This hotel and spa is absolutely excellent. The staff are extremely accommodating, the spa is exquisite, the grounds and views are beautiful. The buffet breakfast was amazing. We really loved it here and plan on returning as soon as we can.
