Spent 2 night here September 2019. Beautiful hotel, well appointed rooms, super friendly and helpful staff. The provided breakfast was varied and sumptuous! Location in Cortona was perfect, right outside the city walls. We would definitely stay there again.
What fantastic people and what an amazing breakfast! The people that work and run this hotel are genuinely amongst the nicest, friendliest people I have ever encountered. The guest is truly at the center of their efforts and the service is genuine.
The breakfast is easily among my top 3 list worldwide. It is the only meal service they provide so they put all their effort into it. I have eaten things here for breakfast that any star rated restaurant should gladly serve their guests. The range of options is nothing short of amazing and although it sounds like a cliche you can actually taste the love that went into their fantastic dishes.
Top tip, come early to enjoy their breakfast at its fullest, as once its gone it is gone and it will go!
Nothing short of exceptional and value for money is off the chart.
Do yourself a favour and go.
Villa Marsili is such a lovely hotel. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were always so helpful and kind. The hotel itself is in a great location and very clean. The rooms are very charming and have plenty of storage, just make sure you bring your own washcloths. The breakfast buffet has a vast variety of all kinds of delicious foods, plenty to choose from, even for picky eaters. I definitely would stay here again on my next trip to Cortona.
Such a beautiful setting - large, comfortable rooms. Located in a great area with access to the gardens and the central plaza. You can walk anywhere within Cortona from this hotel or sit outside enjoying a glass of wine watching the sun over the countryside. For those with Celiac Disease, the staff provides fresh breakfast items, as well as pre-packaged muffins. If I get the opportunity to return to the Tuscan Countryside, I will make it a point to stay here.
Classically furnished villa with traditional Tuscan atmosphere. Very hospitable staff and quality breakfast. For travelers looking for comfort and quality accommodation.
