Tonight we marched on the beautiful mountain top town of Cortona, made famous by the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun"..... mamma mia nose bleed to drive up here. I Should have turned down Hertz for upgrading me for free to such a large car! Outside escalators up the parking spot to Hotel... breath taking views from our balcony room. Later.... now we march! Wonderful Hotel San Luca. Pinch me.
Comfortable rooms, if a little dated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with the best views. All of this in a fabulous town.
Very glad to have booked this hotel with the best view in town from its windows and patio restaurant.
The rooms are distinctly Italian! There are a lot of little touches that I enjoyed including that the higher you floor number, the lower you were in the depths of the building.
Quality place at budget price. Great views and breakfast. Helpful friendly staff.
The location gives stunning views of the countryside surrounding Cortona and you can see Lago Trasimeno in the distance. the breakfast is good, the hotel could do with a minor renovation.
