This place is spectacular and a hidden gem near South Congress. It’s a luxury boutique hotel built into the trees. Their attention to details is phenomenal and it’s sparkly clean in all public and private areas. Free parking! Who has that??? We walked to the Lady Bird Lake trail, Congress, the Capitol and even UT!
In addition to being a wonderful place to stay, the size of the hotel and self service check in/check make social distancing from staff and other guests a breeze.
Had a wonderful stay. Check-in and check-out was contact/hassle free. The room and common room had everything we needed, and the courtyard was beautiful.
Modern hotel in a great location. I stayed here on a Friday so you can hear the live music from local bars in your room. But you are paying for the convenience of location. South Congress has everything you need: shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and that genuine Austin, TX culture! I would recommend a stay here with friends for a weekend out or with your special someone. You won't be disappointed! The hotel has a lounge with a office space and full kitchen with a complimentary espresso bar, sparkling water, beer, wine, and soda. Plenty of lounge room and a gorgeous common patio for a quick photoshoot! You will feel so relaxed just being in such a clean, calm boutique style hotel.
Kimber Modern was the absolute perfect getaway for myself and my husband. The decor and vibe are very contemporary, but comfortable. Everything was pristine - very clean, such attention to every little detail, personable staff and great layout. We were the only guests at the time and really enjoyed the privacy and amenities. The patio is so relaxing, and perfect for a casual meeting or hang out. The common room is a great gathering spot for a quick snack or just relaxing. The staff are very accommodating and willing to help make your stay the absolute best. The complimentary snacks and drinks were a definite perk that added such a nice touch to our little weekend away from home. Breakfast was also delicious. The location is perfect for getting a great taste of Austin - tons of great restaurants, clubs, and shopping within walking distance. We highly recommend Kimber Modern!
