Located at the vicinity of beach/Indian Ocean.
It isn't a hotel, but a residential guest house. I had an AC room with bathroom and dressing area.
Cots are really beautiful.
Rent includes toiletries like soap and towel with WiFi facility. Free water bottle on the day of arrival.
You also get access to kitchen at upstairs. In addition, you can also place order for breakfast, lunch or dinner at an additional cost. They've a menu card.
If you don't choose to do that, you've access to multiple food restaurants at a walkable distance from this location.
The owner helps you exchange foreign currencies at a nearby tea store. The exchange rate was very nominal.
I introduced a friend of mine and he stayed at Royal Marine Inn for almost a month, he was so happy about the stay and felt very homely, peacefull and convenient.
Highly recommended for couple and travellers.
Location is very convenient, beds are very comfortable, you can see ocean sitting in the balcony of the hotel, walking distance from kollupitiya central area. Real homely experience, the owner he is the best thing about this hotel. I never felt i came in a different country. So hospitable, kind & cordial. I will surely stay here again if I come to colombo again. Highly recomended.
