Food is great. Food is completely worth for price. Poolside is good too but it felt a bit compact. Overall can't complain it because it has a good view. Staff is really helpful. Only complain I have is the parking. There's not enough room to park vehicles inside the premises. I had to park my car on the road opposite to the building. But other than that, it was a good experience.
Great food - the main courses are delicious and superb value for money. But not a big fan of the cheesecake I ordered for dessert. The biggest downside is the lack of staff and their inattentiveness to customers. The service was less than satisfactory. There was just one stewardess who seemed to be handling everything while all other staff were going about not paying attention to the diners even when it was clear that attention was required.
Best place in Colombo.
1st floor restaurant serves the delicious meals. Reasonable prices. Good crowd. Friendly staff
When someone talks about ME, the first thing that comes to my mind is the roof top pool and the bar. That was really awesome, and the foods, cocktails and shisha were splendid
The rooms were nice and comfy but were quite small. We booked it for a family of 4 for one day but there was only one double bed in the room. The issue with the bathroom was that it had a glass wall facing the room, which made it impossible to use unless you're alone in the room. Might have been suitable for a couple but not for a family booking.
The buffet didn't have much variety and the taste was mediocre. Could have been better for a boutique hotel. During the buffet we weren't offered water so we had to ask for it. And they brought a water bottle. We had booked a package of the room, buffet and the pool. But as we were leaving we had been charged Rs.300 for this water bottle (which normally would be Rs.70).
The rooftop pool seemed very nice and had a great view but it was surrounded by businesses meetings and people who have come for the bar and just to hangout. So it was very uncomfortable to get into the pool with all the scenery around. Even if the pool would have been nice (didn't get a chance to get in) the hotel guests wouldn't be able to enjoy it due to this setting.
Unfortunately it was not worth the price as a boutique hotel.
