No elevator so if you have heavy baggage it might be a chore to take it up the spiral stair case (ask for something on the first floor since there is no ground floor rooms it seems). Bathroom is big enough but the shower is small for me and thats saying something. There is wifi here. They dont seem to have a computer system here because they were asking for a printout of my reservation to take a picture of it for records. That was a hassle since the guy at the front desk didnt speak english and all my reservation stuff is on my phone and he didnt want any of that. Their front office doesnt unlock their doors until mid to late morning so if you arrived early you have to wait outside with your luggage. Other then those problems the hotel is in the heart of downtown Cologne (köln) so it might be worth it for those who want to be in the middle of a very active nightlife. Especially when its carnival season (end of February) which amounts to alot of partying on the streets.
Great location. Good value. Safe and clean. Quiet at night. No air conditioner/fan nor fridge.
Very nice hotel just in the middle of Koeln. Rooms are small but quite comfortable. This is not a typical hotel rather closer to hostel. No reception open 24h so one must arrive before 8pm. The biggest advantage is localization. From that place you can get in a few minutes to the cathedral. And it is just in the middle of a shopping part. There are restaurants nearby what is important since there is no restaurant in this hotel.
Really nice attention and nice price but the room was a little bit small
The location is great and the rooms are nice. Quality-price ratio really good. We arrived late and the hotel was already closed but the man in charge let us in and was really kind.
