The people who work here are extremely kind and often helpful specifically to my sis who has food allergies. Reserve a table to prevent disappointment, they may be busy occasionally but especially at weekends. The staff here are good and generally offer to help my brother choose what to eat! We are actually regulars. Wide range of drink and food, definitely something for everyone. Will be returning again, really liked our meal And Not too costly.
Wonderful authentic Cologne restaurant with excellent friendly staff. Great ambiance, great food. Menu shows the history of this place which exists for over a century . Tip: ask for a table in the basement!

Very dirty place. After ordering great Kölsch and seeing the prices (totally overpriced) in addition to the dirty seats, we decided that we will have only drinks. So the one star goes for the prices and the dirty seats.
A year ago, I was sitting outside and had lunch, must say the food was pretty good tough.
This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant which some how the customers where at fault for the restaurant’s fault. Unbelievable and unacceptable.
On top of that, he went to another table and started badmouthing us in German.
Unfortunately for him, one of us understands German.
great selection of german food and wines! it was tasty and worth the money. the girl serving was very kind and effective. we enjoyed the decoration, it was cosy but I guess it ia better to have a table upstairs.
