A lot of great things to do. We didn't expect to stay 5 hours there but it was definitely worth it! The butterfly room can get a little warm but that's the only negative thing I can think of (barely). My favorite part was definitely the planetarium. Overall, it was a great time and I will be back.
This hotel is beautiful. It was a convent back in the day and the adjoining hotel was a monastery. One wonders if there's a tunnel connecting them! The rooms are elegant and spotlessly clean. The staff is excellent. The pool is heated and very pretty. The morning buffet is good with lots of choices. The restaurant is not pricey compared to other places in town and they also have complete facilities.
Loved this place so much! I'm all about anything science. The live-in rainforest, the sea life, all the exhibits are so well-maintained. My kids love bugs, and there were so many bizarre bugs that they've only seen in books. This is a must for anyone visiting the Bay area!
Nice place
Stayed one night and loved the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone! The sugar pineapple cookies were an adorable touch.
