This is truly a top-notch property; spacious and elegant rooms with great views and a prime location. The room was quiet and well isolated from any hallway noise. I really appreciated the large desk and comfy desk chair which made it easy to get some work done in the room.
It’s great to see they take care of Diamond members and I was grateful for the upgrade to an awesome suite.
I’ll certainly be returning to LondonHouse next time I’m in Chicago
The hotel is charming. The rooms are what we expected and I think the average cost for a room is reasonable and would consider staying there a second time. I do have to say, I don't like the idea that you have to come down to the lobby to get water bottles that are usually just left in the room as complimentary in most hotels. The front desk personnel is not the nicest. Probably not the kind of people that you want for your first impression when checking-in. There was also an old grumpy man that almost refused to give us water bottles then proceeded to ask for our room numbers to make sure we weren't taking more than we should, as if. With that being said, Valet and almost every other person we came across was kind and helpful.
LondonHouse Bar & Rooftop is a chic and unique outdoor dining and bar in the heart of Chicago which breathtaking views of the Chicago River, Lake Michigan and the Magnificent Mile. It's a nice place to unwind after a hard day's work, or in my case, after a whole morning of touring the city.
The menu may not be that extensive but it certainly is unique, with entries like duck wings, BBQ eel waffle on a stick and squash blossom flatbread.
Definitely an unforgettable experience on a bright, chilly afternoon, that is, if you can book a table.
Absolutely stunning hotel. It felt so old school but so new school at the same time. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The view from our room was amazing. We are members of Hilton hotels so when we go we always ask for a free upgrade, to our surprise, they upgraded us before we even got there. That’s great service! Thank you. Our next trip to Chicago, we will definitely be staying here!!
We had a great weekend @ LondonHouse. The front desk staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. We woke up at 3 am to some noisy neighbors and they moved us to a larger room on a different floor for our last night. Views are absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend the rooftop bar/restaurant
