Great service, amazing ambiance and the place is very close to the beach. The rooms have great view, the rooftop pool is a treat to the eye and a amazing place to relax and enjoy. I have gone during the pandemic period and all the safety issues were taken care off. Food is good, nothing great. But there is a restroBar which is a happening place, so that's another must visit.
By far the best place I have stayed in Chennai. Everything about it has been excellent. Check in was easy, friendly and welcoming receptionist. Rooms are good, with fridge, washing machine, Owen and other amenities. Service is excellent. Gym was good. Instructor at the gym Mr. Shubendu Das is an enthusiastic person, always willing to help and assist. Gives good training. Also gave post work out stretching and massage. Couldn't use pool as it was under maintenance. Over all this is one of the best experience I have had. Looking forward to coming back again.
Value for money. Aesthetic ambience. Great food and hospitality. Somerset is an excellent choice for a cosy, comfortable stay and for weekend getaways. The staff are polite and approachable and the services offered are of great quality. Somerset abides by all protocols related to maintaining COVID safety and all amenities are maintained in a clean and hygienic way. A great place for all ages. Special mention to the team at the restaurant for the tasty food!

The Biriyani, Nutella maltova dessert is instant heaven. The Hospitality exhhibited by Mr. Kozhangiyappar and his team needs a very very special mention. The food and service is signature special.
