Don’t hesitate to book here for your stay in Chania.
The location is great - walking distance to the harbour and all the restaurants. The quaint street of the hotel has some nice shops and restaurants too.
Parking - down the road on Talos Square- for free. It’s uphill to the hotel over cobbles so not recommended if you have mobility issues. Also bc all the rooms are up steep, winding stairs in the building.
The room we stayed in was lovely, clean, very modern fixtures and fittings, luxurious toiletries, lush shower, AC, windows, everything we could need.
Wifi worked perfectly, and great to have a smart TV to screen-mirror from Samsung phone. The curtains were blackout and the room was generally quiet, except for the unexpected construction work early in the morning nearby!
The best thing - the customer service. There was an issue with my booking (my own fault) and Giannis really helped me out with a last-minute booking. On arrival - Thanasis was so friendly, and sorted out a mattress for us as my son was too big for the cot. (He was even willing to buy a mattress if necessary!) Nothing was too much trouble for them and I can’t thank them enough.
Amazing boutique hotel. It’s newly renovated, the rooms are really nice, the shower is dreamy, and the bed is very comfy. It’s in the center close to everything you might need. Just note that as most of old buildings it doesn’t have an elevator. We really enjoyed our time at consolato and would love to go back soon!
Modern clean hotel room, great street, close to the centre, and close to the free open car parks which is important if your hiring a car. Fantastic place! Highly recommended

Loved my room here and the terrace. Great location in the old town (pedestrian only). Newly remodeled, good shower, comfy bed, noon check-out. No compaints! Thanks for a great stay!
Very friendly host who welcomed us and also gave tips on the best restaurants in the area. Definitely try Tamam, only a few minutes walking.
We had a wonderful room at the top floor and therefore our own roof terrace with a view over the historical centre. Excellent air conditioning and nice bed. Everything was top-notch and we'd love to come back here.
My girlfriend lost her scarf but they found it and send it to us back home free of charge. That's a great service!
There's no breakfast but you can get a very good breakfast across the street, 2 seconds walking, at Aspros Gatos. They have a variety of egg dishes, but also a huge plate of BLT sandwiches. We found it a excellent start of the day.
Be careful using Google Maps to get here. It's located in a pedestrian street so you need to park a few hundred metres down the street along the boulevard next to the sea. Tip: set your gps to Talos Square Public Parking. And avoid letting your gps convince you to drive through the Old Venetian Harbour, you are not allowed to drive there, so you'll end up driving in circles and start contemplating the meaning of life ;)
