I can’t say that I visit monasteries very often but this Monastery has definitely boosted my faith!! It’s boosted my faith in gorgeous interiors, detailed design whilst respecting history and incredible customer service! The manager of the hotel, Nikos, is an absolute gem and will make you feel like the only guest at the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, the food is incredible, the sunset from the terrace is beautiful. Do I need to say more? Just go and see for yourself.

One of the top hotels we’ve ever stayed in, from hospitality to style, comfort, and food. The staff are all so wonderful, friendly and kind. The rooms are beautiful, and the restaurant is one of a kind. Delicious meals with all locally sourced, fresh ingredients. We can’t wait to come back
6, not 5, stars. One more because of the atmosphere in the middle of the old town. I would love to have the same architect, everything was right.

So much positive things to be mentioned but will try not to ramble! This was honestly the best Hotel/Airnbnb/etc experience of our lives. The expectations were extremely high before arrival due to all the great reviews but honestly our experience exceeded our expectations by a fair way. Theo and the reception staff are the most helpful, friendly & genuine people you could ever ask for. Costas the Sommelier and the service staff were impeccable (Make sure to spend some time to talk to Costas about Greek and Creten wine, so much passion and great tips!). The rooms, breakfast & the restaurant were also perfect. Our Creten experience was the best holiday of our lives and a lot of that credit goes to the Monastery Estate and their wonderful staff. Thanks once more and see you guys soon hopefully!!!
