SHAMONIX hotel review The place look nice only on the pic and if u stand 15 meters away. Rooms are so small, so we have to crawl to "bathroom". Very poor level of cleanness - we moved in and the bathroom was with hairs from previous guests. Breakfast is included, but it more looks like a big joke - sugar corn and cocoa flakes, plate of artificial ham and cheese. And when other guests eat all cheese and I asked for more, lady-owner said "I don't have anymore of cheese". Only the view and location is good. Not recommended! They need to change a manager.

BEST PLACE EVER. the location is lovely, close to the bus stop, with a great view. the food served at dinner was unbelievable. we all stuffed ourselves silly because we couldn't say no to all this goodness. the staff/owners were extremely friendly and helpful, going beyond what we expected.

This "hotel" has a fantastic location. However, you should not expect hotel service. The room is not made up on a daily basis, there is no flexibility in meal plans, at meals you are expected to eat different courses from the same plates, and since everything is very old it is not quite clear what is and is not clean. If you want to be in an old-fashioned "auberge" without modern facilities, it is fine. Otherwise, you may be disappointed.

Rentet a chalet for 2 days so cannot say anything about the hotel - which actually looked nice. The chalet we rented, though, was quite run down and smelt musty. Kitchen and toilet looked old and did not feel clean. Two in our family woke up with something that looked like flea bites...The outside was just an unkempt and unlevel field with some plastic furniture, did not look like the pictures on their web site. We also had a bulldozer busy digging behind us the first day, did not add to the overall impression. With this in mind it was very overpriced. I think the place has potential, and with a modernisation of the chalet and the outside area it could be a nice place to stay.
