Incredible hotel down to the finest detail with friendly, helpful and authentic staff. The room was original, trendy and full of little details that made us feel right at home. I could go on and on about the incredible views of he Alps right from the hotel terraces and pool and the access to the city- just 1 min away on foot!!
Lastly it was our wedding anniversary and the front desk manager left us a sweet note with balloons and a voucher for 2 free drinks to celebrate the occasion. We felt special.
Gorgeous cosy family run hotel just off the main town. Greeted to two extremely warm and helpful young gentleman. Lovely room with balcony and fab view.. we went for a superior room. We literally cannot say anything but positives.. great value, great location, comfortable cosy and lovely staff!!!! 5 stars ⭐️
Absolutely top. We have spent 4 days in the chalet for our wedding in June 2018 (we rented 2 adjoining buildings). Facilities were absolutely flawless, service was fantastic (special thanks to Marta), location cannot be beaten for convenience to shops, transportation, lifts, but especially views. We will return and would recommend anyone to stay in this place. Thank you guys!
Great service and very friendly staff! The lobby is very large, there is a chessboard, a room for children with toys and a TV, delicious coffee and tea is also available right in the lobby! Cable car right outside the hotel entrance. Modern interior in the rooms! Nice and spacious SPA! We were surprised by a New Year gift!
Lovely warm and cosy Lodge. I loved that there is a pleasant shared area downstairs. I LOVED that there's a hot tub outside, in addition to the jet bath in our room. The bed was two twins pushed together nicely, so it was an excellent large size. The breakfast included is fab, good selection and a choice of eggs which is great for us Brits. Our host Chris was also lovely and informative :D

We had a MAGICAL experience at Grand Hotel Des Alpes! Everything was perfect! The room and the bed were very comfortable, we saw French Alps from our windows. The staff was very sweet and attentive, all our requests were fulfilled. I was also impressed by COVID-19 measures at the Grand Hotel Des Alpes. Everything was organized so well that we haven’t even seen anyone during our stay! We were alone at the SPA (because you need to book it in advance and it becomes private only for you), we had our breakfast and gastronomic dinner in the room (and it was a great experience! The food was great!)
In the SPA we were glad to enjoy the swimming pool with mountain view, jacuzzi bath, sauna and the steam room.
We advice Grand Hotel des Alpes to everyone, who appreciates wide range of luxury facilities and 5-star service!
This is a beautiful guest house run by a lovely, international family. Our good friends just stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. They were made to feel very welcome. The chalet is tastefully decorated, the bedrooms are quiet and comfortable and the dining lounge area is a dream. I highly recommend this chalet to anybody looking for a peaceful and/or sporty active holiday!
An outstanding and perfectly equipped property! Private pool, spa, sauna and elevator. The chalet is at the bottom of the forest with an incredible view of the mountains!
The refuge is fantastic. The staff are wonderful. We felt so welcome, dinner was great, breakfast too. The suite with bath is amazing. Daphnè was lovely. Thanks to the whole team, can't wait to go back
We have stayed at this hotel many years ago, it is superbly located in Chamonix. The team are attentive and willing to help. We did not use the pool and hotpool area this time. Most rooms have bijou balconies where you can relax outside and enjoy the stunning views. The fare for the continental breakfast is great. Using the best of local produce and the freshest ingredients our breakfast was a delight. My partner wanted to give this Hotel a 3* rating, because for him the public spaces are starting to look a little too shabby. Stains on elevator lobby carpets, worn corridor carpets as well as paint blistering on the balcony and for the price it all starts to look a bit worn. I kept the 4* because i still think the hotel has good services, a great team and I do love a private balcony.
Brilliant time here. Room was comfortable and well decorated. Bed was comfy but would prefer two pillows to one was just too tired to call down for one! Excellent power shower

Staff were superb, pleasant, polite great English and other languages. Very helpful too. They were a credit to the hotel.
I stayed here on one of my tours of Europe. It is a 5 star hotel. The indoor/outdoor pool is fabulous, with a view of Mt Blanc. The food is also amazing! It is rated with 2 Michelin stars. This is a family run facility, since the early 1900’s. Highly recommend. I hope to come back soon❣️
Beautiful, quiet and family-friendly hotel slightly outside of Chamonix. Perfectly located for any kind of sports activity. All rooms have their personal touch, most (if not all) with balcony. The spa area is nicely equipped with a mid-size pool, a sauna and a small gym.
Really surprising was the breakfast, serving everything you can wish for: fresh bread, eggs, cereal, self-made marmelade and more. Super nice service experience overall.
The hotel is recently renovated and decorated with good taste. The welcome and the staff was friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good breakfast with home-made products (also scrumble with bacon!). Nice and cosy living-room with beautiful chimney. Tea and coffee in full-time access.
Sauna in the basement and jacuzzi on the open terrasse are included in price.
Public parking in 50 m for a special price for the guests.
We booked a Valentines weekend at the Heliopic Hotel in the middle of Covid and the staff did a great job of making our stay comfortable, romantic, and somewhat normal
The location is central and you can walk everywhere. Even though it’s next to a road on the map, it’s a little 2 lane and there’s no noise, our balcony was overlooking and I’m a very light sleeper, 0 noise
The style is modern and fun, reminds me a bit of the modern boutique hotel chain Mama Shelter.
You can park in their underground parking for 10€ per day which is useful since the only other option is parking pretty far away from the center of town.
We had room and board so breakfast and dinner delivered to the room which, while it’s no restaurant, it was nice.
The spa is excellent, we had to respect certain time slots and distance rules but I adored cycling between the hamman, sauna, and ice bath.
We were in a Mansard room under the roof with view of the Mont Blanc and the room was clean and spacious with a big comfy bed and black out curtains. I’m a light sleeper and appreciated that while the hotel was full, it was very quiet and I slept like a baby. Would definitely recommend
