+ nice view from the balcony, good breakfast, friendly staff;
- bathroom equipment needs to be replaced or fixed: you can flush the WC only once in 10-15 min, shower is either very cold or very hot; the pressure of water in shower is very low. No wardrobe.
- If your room is next to the breakfast balcony you will hear everything happening there from 7.30 - no possibility to sleep after.
Very nice owner. We got information about Cefalu - places to see, restaurants. Tasty breakfast with variety of products to choose from (both sweet and salty like ham). Beautiful view during breakfast from spacious balcony that was also available during the day to sit there. WiFi was working fine. Clean and fresh room. Good location quite close to the beach (there is a shortcut down the stairs). Very good value for the price. Sings on the streets are extremely helpful to get to the place because Google Maps doesn't help here.
The only thing we didn't like was a smell from sewers in the bathroom (and only in the bathroom). It was kind of difficult to spend time there so you need to take rather quick shower. Note: we had a room with private bathroom outside of it so I don't know if the smell was a problem anywhere else.
Wonderful homemade cakes for breakfast and a nice view
Amazing hosts - very friendly and open to talk with the guests. They gave us a lot of recommendations on places to see in Cefalu, engaged in a very nice conversation and prepared a very delicious breakfast (also with a very good coffee and nice vegetarian options).
The place is very convenient, offers nice rooms with view on the city. It's very well taken care of, clean and nicely organised.
We totally recommend staying here!
Very decent place to stay with friendly hosts.
Pros:
- good location, only 10 mins walk from the town/beach
- very friendly hosts that help you with recommendations of where to go
- room was spacious and clean
- breakfast had a variety of things to offer with homemade cakes and marmalades
- you could also borrow a beach ombrella which was very handy for our time there
- free parking available in from of the building
- good room views of the city and the sea
Cons:
- the shower head was broken and the shower in general could do with an upgrade
- the building itself is not the greatest (but the B&B is very well kept and modern)
- there were construction works taking place during our stay which meant loud noises at early in the morning
