My friends and I checking in the Murals hostel in Cebu. We were looking for a nice and cheap hostel to stay in since we were on budget. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Everyone you meet always smiles and greets you. The moment you step in the hostel, you really feel at home. The place is very comfortable and very clean. The artwork in every part in the hostel is very unique. I've never seen anything like it. My friends and I maxed out the beds in one room, but there is no bathroom. The bathroom is public, but that didn't bother us at all because it was very clean. Spending the night there was very comfy because there was no noise even though there were other guests around the hostel. I highly recommend staying in Murals Hostel when you come to Cebu because not only it is very comfortable, you also get to meet people around the world. I would definitely come back here once I get the chance.
Fantastic staff, simple breakfast provided, bathrooms were okay. Reasonable price for the night, we had a private room with the loudest air con unit ever. On the same evening there was a blackout in the neighbourhood and the staff members helped us relocate to their sister hostel nearby and we ended up having the best sleep ever.
I love this hostel, it has a homey ambiance. The shower and toilet rooms are always clean. The sink is clean and the tissue is always replenished. The staff are kind and helpful and always smiling. The vibe of the room is cozy, you can definitely rest in this hostel. There’s a co-working space which is super nice. Also, there’s a cafe outside and bar at its second floor. Food is just OK but hey, it’s cebu. You can eat outside and chill in this hostel. :)
This place has a lot to offer. An amazing cafe that serves great food and coffee at the right price. The coworking space is quaint, if you didn't plan on staying but want to, they have cheap easy reads for sale starting at 50 pesos. The hostel looks comfy and definitely diverse, a lot of foreigners abound and always an aura of good company.
The hostel has a homey vibe. I could stay in there and not get bored. It's quite the walk though from the city center. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Mike from the hotel's cafe makes great coffee.
