When we got there, were shocked because we were told that the Hostel is closed already and they are only accepting long term staying. Though in Booking.com app, they are still accepting bookings and there is no message saying about this.
However, the manager was so accommodating. She was able to get us a room though it’s not the same room that I reserved, we are still thankful because it was raining that time.
This place is very cozy, chill vibes and they have their own restaurant and small bar. You can’t expect this vibe in the middle of a subdivision in the city.
I recommend to call them if you are interested.
I hope they will improve their services online because of the situation right. More power! ❤️
I love the feeling of being annonymous in a city I've never been before. The place was so good, and the nice people around here, Specially lovely Chewee and her sister Sandra (beautiful clerks). Their were so accommodating, understanding and considerate. They after your needs and satisfaction of the place though I stayed here during pandemic but still they manage everything. I thank for all the staff who work so hard in order to reach the standards of this beautiful and nice hostel. I should pick this place again if I have to stay more days in the city I also want to tell my friends to choose this hostel for them to stay.
Great place and budget friendly
I stayed at the flying fish for just one night but will remember my stay for a long time to come. The private room was more than perfect for my stay. Spacious with a comfy bed, cool air conditioning and nice bathroom with a hot shower. The receptionist Kyle was very helpful and considerate. The manager Jules was so hospitable, welcoming and a true gem for this establishment. I hope her and the flying fish company all the best in their futures! When I come back to Cebu City I will definitely look to stay with them again. Thank you for everything!

I know this place pretty well along with most of the people who work here. It's one of the nicest social area arrangements I've seen in any hostel and it's constantly being updated. They have helpful maintenance people who can fix things quickly and the manager is awesome and hospitable. I will always stay here when I'm in Cebu.
